Spring Drumline

Have an excused absence for a rehearsal? Send me an email BEFORE the scheduled date.

Spring drumline rehearsals begin March 26th and continue to meet each Wednesday through the end of the school year with some exceptions. Consult the calendar below for specific dates and times. Rehearsals are from 3:45 PM to 5:45 PM.

Spring drumline is vital to the success of the fall season. During these rehearsals, new players are instructed how to play the instrument, personnel is determined for instrumentation and the line learns all of the warm-ups and exercises for the fall season. Both Battery and Pit members are to attend but will rehearse seperately.

Please be prompt and prepared for rehearsals. Start times are when instruction begins, so set up instruments and music stands BEFORE the start time indicated.

Summer Rehearsals

Summer rehearsals are completely voluntary, however every percussiionist is encouraged to come and participate. These rehearsals will be especially valuable for players who wish to improve their skills before the upcoming marching band season.

Because of the Upper School trip to China, we are starting several weeks later than in the pase, so we will have a very limited summer schedule.

** The entire drumline should attend the DCI Southeastern Championships *
to be held in the Georgia Dome here in Atlanta on July 26th.
